A number of Avatars that were originally found on the Battle.net website itself don't appear in the game anymore, so I'm only
listing the ones that do. Also, Other characters on Closed Battle.net will appear in the chat just as they do in the game.
Players with this avatar are using Open Battle.net.
Other game clients:
Players with this avatar are using Diablo or Diablo Spawn.
Players with this avatar are using Starcraft, Starcraft Shareware or Starcraft Japanese.
Players with this avatar are using Starcraft Broodwar.
Players with this avatar are using Warcraft II.
Players with this avatar are using Warcraft III or The Frozen Throne.
Other avatars:
Blizzard Employees and their TechBot are represented by this avatar. If you do /whois (name of employee) then it will say
they are using "Chat".
A user with this avatar is a moderator of whatever channel your in. That means you can be kicked or banned from the channel
whenever they please... unless you're a moderator too.
By squelching someone, a red X flashes over their avatar every second. That means, whatever they say is not displayed on your
screen.
